White and Gold Pizza

Lately I have been making homemade pizza. Trader Joe’s sells whole wheat dough, great sauce, and all the toppings! Tonight I decided to get adventurous and leave the traditional toppings behind. I stuck with the whole wheat dough because it’s healthy and easy. I do not have time for homemade pizza dough. I sautéed a medium-sized sweet onion and two cloves of garlic in some olive oil, and then spread it on the rolled out dough. I baked the dough at 350 degrees for about 5 minutes. I then spread some neufchatel cheese over it and sprinkled it with some mozzarella. I baked for about 10 more minutes. I could not seem to get the cheese to brown!

The recipe was from Kraft. You can find it here. It was ok, definitely not great. If I make it again, I’ll use less neufchatel, more garlic, and maybe add chicken or veggies. The pizza was missing something for sure.  Oh and please don’t diss on the shape of my pizza. I was starving and didn’t really feel like making it look perfect!
