I decided to make lemon bars last night for a cookout I’m going to. Of course I start making them at 10 pm, and realize I am out of powdered sugar. Fail!
Wait! The lighbulb over my head lit up, and I remembered I had corn starch. No corn starch isn’t a substitute for powdered sugar, but you can make powdered sugar with it! Put 1 cup of granulated sugar with 2 tablespoons of corn starch into a blender (or food processor), and blend until you have powdered sugar.
