So this is free time

I’ve always been a busy gal. In high school I was in sports, theatre, clubs, and had a job. College looked about the same, and ever since I entered the working world I’ve been working 50+ hours a week, volunteering at church, and running slash becoming a cardio queen. Well this week is my first week not at the mall in a year, and I don’t start at T9 for a few days. What am I supposed to do if I’m not working, running errands, training, etc? What? Free time? What is that? I don’t think I understand!

Lunch was leftover butternut squash pasta from last week

And apple cake my mom brought me

Pre-workout snack was a pumpkin muffin

I was so hungry during my workout that I had to get off the elliptical and go home. I’m trying use up food I have in my pantry and freezer and this combo won out. I cooked up some frozen asian stir-fry veggies and a veggie burger in some TJ’s soyaki. I also used up the rest of my quinoa.

I think I now understand what to do with free time:
